For centuries preaching has been the primary means by which the church has communicated the gospel to hungry souls. From the time the Apostle Peter preached on the day of Pentecost and three thousand souls were saved, to the emergence of electronic mediums that take the gospels to global destinations, preaching has been the instrument that has touched millions of lives.
In this course, students will be treated to an examination of preaching as an artform. We will study preachers of the past along with the style and various methodical approaches to the discipline of preaching. This course is made up of a number of videos that is both academic and practical.

Lewter is the Bishop of Christian Education for the Full Gospel Baptist Church Fellowship and is an Adjunct Professor at Beulah Heights Bible University in Atlanta, GA and the Apex School of Theology in Raleigh, NC. Bishop Lewter holds degrees from Oberlin College, Harvard Divinity School and the United Theological Seminary.
